As a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator and Prenatal Yoga Instructor, Bharti loves helping expecting moms to have a comfortable and pain free pregnancy as well as a positive child birthing experience.

An alma mater of IIM Bangalore, India, Bharti founded Her Healthcare at Home with a vision of bringing world-class products and services to expecting moms in India. Kickoff | Personal 1:1 Onboarding with Bharti

I want to get to know each of you personally before we jump into the 4 week course! Hence I will have a one-to-one onboarding call to understand your pregnancy and any specific concerns.

Week 1 | Pregnancy, Nutrition & Fitness [Live]

In the first live workshop, we will understand the key physical and hormonal changes that happen during the 3 trimesters, common pregnancy discomforts and their home remedies, how to have a ... healthy pregnancy through right nutrition & fitness ( yes we will be moving in this session too! ) and the warning signs to look out for. During the week, I will be sharing material for healthy meal plan, deep breathing exercises and daily stretches videos which you can practice in your own time. Read more

Week 2 | Prenatal Yoga Core Strength [Live]

In the second live workshop, we will be practicing a holistic prenatal yoga routine that will help you to build core strength (focus areas - back, abdomen and pelvic floor) which is vital to have a healthy ... pain free pregnancy as well as faster recovery. We will end with a relaxing deep breathing & pranayama practice. Week 3 | Birth Preparation, Labor & Delivery [Live]

The third live workshop is all about getting you physically & mentally prepared for labor and birth. We will be talking about Optimal Fetal Positioning, how to avoid tearing, recognizing different stages of labor and when to go ... the hospital, natural labor pain management techniques for you and your partner, labor positions and medical pain relief options (epidural) that are generally available. Week 4 | Hip Opening for Birth Preparation [Live]

The final workshop is another prenatal yoga session designed to help you open up the pelvis to help engage the baby and prepare for natural birth. We will end with a relaxing positive visualisation practice to help you reduce anxiety ... and go in to your delivery with positive attitude ( and that is 90% of the game!) Frequently Asked Questions

This course is for moms-to-be in their second and third trimester (week 24 onwards) having a normal pregnancy and having a go ahead from their Dr to practice prenatal yoga.

It starts from 19th June 2022 ( Sunday), 10AM IST

No. No matter what all we can do in preparation, there is never a guarantee on what will happen on the day of the delivery – the baby may go into distress or decide to turn at the last moment, pass meconium or any other medical emergency which may require an emergency c-section. However, this course does equip you to deal with medical interventions, take informed decisions and go through labor & birth in a calmer and confident way.

In case you miss the live workshops, we will have recording of the session emailed to you.

There are going to be 4 live workshops over 4 weeks along with on demand content during the week with tips, exercises, reminders and handouts circulated through the week to reinforce the learning of the workshop which you can do at you own time.

The live workshops will be held every Sunday between 10AM to 12:30PM ISt starting June 19th for 4 weeks. The rest of the on demand content will be bonus which you can do according to your comfort.

While you can attend the prenatal yoga classes on your own, it is highly recommended you get you partner for the Labor & Delivery class so they are also on board about what to expect and do when you go into labor.
